Welcome
In 1984, the United Nations proclaimed the protection of human rights, including every person’s right to education. This education is obligatory and must be free, at least as far as elementary education is concerned. However, in Ecuador, with 13 million inhabitants, more than 65% of the people do not have access to education. Unfortunately, the government does not have the necessary means and the education of the lower economic segments of the population depends on private contributions. Therefore, Project Renaissance was founded to improve the education and nutrition of the children of Ecuador.
