Welcome
In 1984, the United Nations proclaimed the protection of human rights, including
every person’s right to education. This education is obligatory and must be free,
at least as far as elementary education is concerned.
However, in Ecuador, with 13 million inhabitants, more than 65% of the people
do not have access to education. Unfortunately, the government does not have
the necessary means
and the education of the lower economic segments of the population depends on private contributions. Therefore, Project Renaissance was founded to improve the education and nutrition of the children of Ecuador. > Click here for a RADIO INTERVIEW with founder Maria de Lourdes Campos.
The Renaissance Project is designed to help children of all economic, ethnic, social status or religious beliefs. The main purpose of The Renaissance Project is to create a better future for the children in Ecuador
and society at large.
Project Renaissance collaborates with the Interoceanica Educational Network to enrich the education and nutritional status of children in the rural area of Quito, Ecuador.
